Romans Raise & Revel 2023 Virtual Paddle Raise

2023 Virtual Paddle Raise:

Help us cross the finish line for our $1.4 million goal for financial aid by making a gift during the Virtual Paddle Raise! Gifts made now through 8:30 pm on Thursday, March 2 will also help your students win a fun grade-wide party this spring.

How to Win Student Grade-Wide Parties:

Each grade is eligible to win one of the four grade-wide parties listed below in drawings held during the evening's festivities. Every grade starts with an even chance to win with three ping pong balls in their prize hopper.  You can boost your students' grades chances by attending the event and/or making a gift of any amount in the virtual paddle raise--both the number of gifts and total dollars raised per grade earn extra ping pong balls in the hopper!

Each grade is eligible for one of four prizes at the Romans Raise & Revel parties this Thursday night:

JK, SK, 1st:  Bubble Extravaganza with The Bubble Lady

One full grade of lower school students will win a fun afternoon with performances by The Bubble Lady, a bubble cascade in the Learning Garden, and a chance to blow their own tiny and giant bubbles while enjoying popsicles in the sunshine. Date May 19, during school hours.

2nd, 3rd, 4th: Mabel Slade Vickery Undernighter

One full grade of students will be treated to dinner that turns into a mystery to be solved! Students gather clues from all corners of the lower school to figure out whodunnit. Shhhh-the mystery twist is a secret. Dinner by HandCut Foods included. Saturday, April 29, 4-7 pm. 

5th, 6th, 7th, 8th: Games Galore Night with the MS Faculty

One grade of middle school students will win a Friday night full of fun with the middle school faculty, including a grade level round of dodgeball games, followed by student choice games: field gym, video games, karaoke, as well as card and board games. Pizza dinner included! Friday, May 19, 6 - 8:00 pm. 

9th, 10th, 11th, 12th: Romans Rooftop Hang

One entire upper school grade will win an afternoon at nearby Utopian Tailgate rooftop. The winning grade will head out from school at 1:15 pm to Wells and North to the neighborhood's coolest rooftop venue for a private party, featuring fun games like giant Jenga, bags and foosball as well as social media-friendly scenery and views. After chowing down on hearty party fare of burgers, pizzas, salad and fries, students will be back on campus in time for all their usual after school activities. Wednesday, May 17, 1:15 - 3:15 pm.
